It seems like there is a purge API, but it does not purge everything ( - See comment from rtichvdh on ) The massive Carrizozo lava flow, which traveled 75 km down the Tularosa Basin of south-central New Mexico, is one of Earths longest known Holocene lava. So I looked at Matrix ( ) that seems to be good, but there are 2 bad points : end-to-end encryption seems to still be in beta and it stores chat history on server.

Then I looked at Wire ( ) it seems to check all boxes, but self-hosting it seems really complicate (I have near to no experience with Ansible and Kubernetes) and requirements are huge (17 VM on 3 different physical hosts, massive requirements for RAM and disks, currently it significates a lot for us) and I’m not sure client is free even if we are self-hosting our server (if you say me it’s free, it could become a good point for this solution) So I looked at other clients like Signal ( ), but it uses a third party server (and self-hosting a signal server means that you have to modify/recompile app to use your own server, and that is a too big investment for us) Carrizozo Lava Flow Markagunt Plateau Volcanic Field Red Hill-Quemado Volcanic Field Uinkaret Volcanic Field Zuni-Bandera Volcanic Field. I’m asking here because I looked at many XMPP client but found none that respect all our criteria so we are looking at self-hosted solution. For internal chat, we are currently using Adium but it seems to be not maintained now, so we are seeking an alternative to it.
